Web Site Analysis - For a small fee, we will analyze your present web site, offering recommendations regarding overall design, navigation, content, SEO (search engine optimization), increasing your traffic and conversion rate, and accomplishing your web site's goals. If you hire us to do any of the recommended changes, we will apply that fee toward the final cost. Here are some examples of analyses we've done for other clients.
WordPress Sites - WordPress is not just for blogs. They offer a broad array of themes that can be customized and expanded upon to give you virtually everything you need for a fraction of the cost of a traditional web site. Two of their best themes are 1) their inhouse designs - Twenty Ten, Twenty Eleven, Twenty Twelve, etc. (they do an updated version every year) - and 2) DIY's Thesis theme. We can individualize these to give you the look and functionality you want; but if you prefer something even more unique, we suggest either our Waitsel Theme (see below) or a Custom Site (see below).
Waitsel Theme - These are web sites based on our unique Waitsel Theme. We designed this theme for sites that want to go deep in content but still have an easy, intuitive navigation system. (See our article, "Waitsel Theme.")
Custom Sites - These are web sites we've built from scratch. If you want the most unique look and functionality possible, if your site is going to go very deep, if it's going to be heavily data-driven, or if you want a few more bells and whistles than the average site, we suggest going this route. Think of building a custom web site as building your own house. (See our article on "Building a Web Site.") You can make it exactly the way you want without the limitations of a themed template. The possibilities are endless.
Older, Flash Sites - These are sites that we built in the early days of our firm. We thought you might find them interesting. They are built completely in Flash. We no longer advise clients to have sites that are totally dedicated to Flash. Rather, we suggest that they use Flash elements, such as rotating headers and animated banners and buttons. Flash animations are great for explaining things and for adding spice to a site; but most things can be handled just as effectively today using one of the current coding languages.
